Accountant
What will you be working on?
- Processing accounting documents
- Recording and checking incoming and outgoing invoices
- Entering documents into the accounting system
- Checking the formal and factual accuracy of accounting documents
- Preparing documents for posting (bank statements, cash receipts, internal documents)
- Posting routine accounting operations
- Posting simple accounting transactions in accordance with internal guidelines
- Assistance with monthly and annual closings
- Cooperation in the inventory of assets and liabilities
- Recording small assets and checking accounting balances
- Support for the chief accountant
- Assisting in the preparation of supporting documents for VAT, income tax, and other taxes
- Communication with suppliers and customers regarding invoices and payments
- Assistance in preparing financial statements
- Cooperation during audits and internal controls
- Administrative tasks
- Managing and archiving accounting documents
- Preparing supporting documents for regulatory authorities
- Updating supplier and customer databases
- Support in improving internal processes
- Other tasks as needed
- Basic communication with banks
- Assisting in preparing documents for payroll (e.g., attendance, reimbursements)
Required Professional Knowledge & Hard Skills
Education, language skills, professional skills, and level: basic/intermediate/expert
Knowledge of the Slovak Chart of Accounts (intermediate)
Experience with OMEGA accounting software (basic)
English language (intermediate)
Experience with Czech accounting is an advantage

Salary
- Salary: from 1800 EUR (depending on experience level) + interesting benefits.
