CHALLENGE

Disconnected Patients,
Rising Costs

In the US, many underprivileged communities are not aware of what kind of healthcare coverage they are eligible for because of their upbringing, lack of access to information, or inability to attend better schools. This low patient engagement results in significant costs to the entire US healthcare system, including insurance providers and the government.

The Founders of BigHeart understood that prevention is cheaper than healthcare.

The primary goal of the BigHeart platform is to educate individuals through non-profit organizations that join the platform about their rights regarding Medicare and Medicaid healthcare programs, and to increase patient engagement by encouraging them to schedule an online visit with a physician or counselor in cases of mental health concerns.

This is a win for patients, as they receive the medical care they are eligible for, and on the other hand, insurance companies can collect medical reports and assessments about registered patients to provide comprehensive medical services for eligible patients.

Remote Patient Monitoring

The system combines secure video visits, remote health tracking, automated data sharing, and group health sessions, allowing patients to stay connected, reduce unnecessary clinic visits, and receive timely support from anywhere. We have also integrated certified medical devices to enable real-time remote care and continuous patient monitoring.

Community App

The BigHeart platform empowers its members to communicate effectively, create various types of content, and share their activities and events with others. It also supports organizing video conferences for groups ranging from one-on-one sessions to thousands of participants.

Community members can attend virtual medical and behavioral health appointments, document their health status in an electronic health record, and participate in preventive health education courses, remote patient monitoring, and care coordination programs—all within their private-label app.

Electronic Health Record (EHR)

We integrated EHR capabilities into BigHeart to ensure that care teams have real-time access to patient data, enabling faster and more informed decision-making.

Interoperability 

From federated identity to FHIR-based HL7 data exchange, we connected siloed patient records across systems, providers, and platforms. We were also involved in patient identity matching and verification to avoid duplicates and link records across payer, provider, and device ecosystems.

By integrating AI-powered health data analysis, smart alerts, and continuous learning with third-party interoperability layers, we enable proactive care, early risk detection, and secure data exchange across the entire healthcare ecosystem.

Compliance

The entire platform is HIPAA compliant. Touch4IT is also certified in ISO 27001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001.
