SEC Technologies is a European company focused on cutting-edge solutions for detecting chemical and biological threats from a safe distance. Their flagship product, Falcon 4G, is trusted by military forces worldwide for its unmatched precision and long-range detection capabilities.

The client needed to rebuild their application, which was originally developed on outdated technologies, to ensure long-term scalability and maintainability. With internal development capacity decreasing, it became essential to modernize the system and set a stable foundation for future growth.

We engineered a completely new control interface for the Falcon 4G platform, an advanced long-range CBRN detection system, designed to support precise operation in field conditions and mission-critical defense scenarios. The application enables operators to control motorized positioning, activate dual CO₂ lasers, and manage the integrated camera using a joystick. It supports both stand-off and mobile deployment and is ready for future Falcon models, built on a modern architecture optimized for speed, reliability, and ease of use.

We began with a detailed analysis of the legacy system, documenting all functional and technical requirements. This was followed by solution design, UX/UI creation, and full-cycle development. The final steps included hardware integration, system testing, and deployment—ensuring the new application met all operational and performance needs in field conditions.

The new software solution brought a significant leap in usability, reliability, and readiness for deployment in demanding defense environments. By replacing an outdated legacy system with a modern, scalable platform, the client now benefits from a future-proof foundation that supports both current and next-generation Falcon detectors.
